A new section of the frontline becomes a hot spot in the Tavria sector

In the Tavria sector, encompassing the frontline in Zaporizhzhya and the southern part of the Donetsk region, a new area is becoming a focal point—specifically, the Orikhiv direction.

This was stated by Dmytro Lykhoviy, a spokesman for the Tavria operational-strategic group.

«The Orikhiv direction has emerged as a hotspot in our area of responsibility, where the enemy is attempting to sever the Robotyno salient. While in previous days and weeks there were occasional lulls in enemy attacks, yesterday saw a surge with 16 recorded attacks to the west of Verbove village and near Robotyne village», — stated Lykhoviy.

He further noted that the Russian occupiers are «engaging in activities reminiscent of those seen in mid-February, which were successfully halted«.

As a reminder, the losses of Russian troops and their mercenaries in Ukraine amount to approximately 421,430. On March 6, Ukrainian defenders neutralized at least 1,160 Russian occupiers.
