The Russian occupation forces have resorted to using drones equipped with incendiary mixtures against Ukraine, resulting in the ignition of fires.

This was reported by the Northern Regional Directorate of the Border Guard Service on March 11.

In a statement, the Border Guard Service noted:

«The invaders seem to have exhausted all possible ways to harm Ukraine, but now they have decided to test even drones with incendiary mixture. The other day, in one of the border communities in Chernihiv region, border guards recorded the fact that an unknown object was dropped from an enemy UAV, which caught fire after hitting the ground».

The border guards acted promptly to prevent the fire from spreading and causing environmental damage. This incident follows earlier reports of Russian troops firing on the Semenivska community in the Chernihiv region, resulting in injuries to a 51-year-old man.
