Belgium has announced a €412 million military aid package for Ukraine, aimed at countering Russian aggression. This aid will comprise 300 IVECO Lynx LMV armored vehicles and three minesweepers.
According to Shephard Media, Belgian Defence Minister Ludivine Dedonder confirmed this announcement.
The initial €32.9 million package is a collaborative effort among the Benelux countries. As part of this cooperation, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg will procure reconnaissance drones and an undisclosed quantity of armored ambulances, which will undergo upgrades before delivery.
Additionally, Ukraine will receive artillery ammunition valued at €373.1 million.
