German Federal Minister of Defence, Boris Pistorius, has pledged a new military aid package for Ukraine amounting to 500 million euros.

The announcement was made during a press conference at Ramstein, as reported by Tagesschau.

«This is a ‘German package’», — Pistorius emphasized to the media.

Additionally, the aid package will include 100 units of armored vehicles for infantry and 100 units of transport equipment.

In related developments, Norway has recently joined the Air Defence Coalition, extending support to Ukraine with anti-aircraft systems, missiles, and aircraft. Moreover, it will allocate $153 million towards a Czech initiative aimed at procuring 800,000 rounds of ammunition for Ukraine, outside the EU.
