Ukraine’s Neptune anti-ship cruise missile has undergone upgrades, enabling it to engage targets in surface-to-surface mode as well.

Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, made this announcement on Hromadske Radio.

«The Neptune missiles have already been utilized against numerous targets. They targeted the Moscow cruiser, and successfully neutralized the so-called Triumph anti-aircraft missile system S-400.

The Neptune has been enhanced to operate not only as an anti-ship missile but also in surface-to-surface mode. This advancement is a testament to the capabilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and our developers», — stated Pletenchuk.
