Aviation expert Anatoliy Khrapchynsky, speaking on Hromadske Radio, suggested that if Ukraine’s Western partners permit, the country could utilize F-16s to establish a 100-kilometre «grey zone» around its borders, rendering it inaccessible for russian aircraft.

«If we consider the deployment of F-16s to counter extensive shelling, we would witness a significant increase in the number of russian missiles intercepted. Moreover, if our Western partners authorize the utilization of the weaponry onboard the aircraft within Russian Federation territory, we could establish a 100-kilometre «grey zone» along Ukraine’s borders, effectively barring Russian aircraft from operating there», — explained Anatoliy Khrapchynsky.
