Zelenskyy: Russians in Kharkiv Region have reached only the first of three lines of fortifications

In Kharkiv Region, the enemy did not reach the «concrete defense line.» Thus far the Russians only reached the first line.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a meeting with journalists, Ukrayinska Pravda reports.

«The first line is not a border; it is impossible to build there because our people were killed by the weapons used by the Russians. They are approximately there now. This is the first line, the line that was built in the war, under constant fire, by our military. The first and second lines were built by the military, and the third line was built by local authorities. It is the most powerful—not because they are better than the military, but simply because it is further away from weapons, from shells, from shelling,» Zelensky explained.

As a reminder, the occupiers are taking civilians prisoner in Vovchansk. There are first executions. In particular, one of the residents of Vovchansk tried to escape on foot, refused to follow the commands of the Russians, and was killed.
