Recently, the Russian occupiers have resumed shelling the rear cities of Donetsk Region, Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.

This was reported by Radio Liberty correspondent Serhii Horbatenko on Hromadske Radio.

Commenting on the situation in Donetsk Region, he stated that fighting has recently intensified in some areas of the frontline.

«We can see that Russian troops are gradually advancing in certain areas.

Over the past few days, shelling of the rear cities has resumed. In particular, the city of Sloviansk has been under fire from Smerch multiple rocket launchers for several days in a row. Fortunately, no civilian casualties were reported. The outskirts of the city came under fire. The outskirts of Kramatorsk also came under fire, and no casualties were reported», — the correspondent said.

He noted that the situation in the north of the Kharkiv region should not be forgotten amid the focus on the situation in Donetsk Region.
