The Russian occupation army loses 24,000 of its soldiers every month in the war against Ukraine.

This statement was made by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, n-tv reports.

«There is a figure that speaks of 24,000 Russian soldiers killed or seriously wounded every month», — he said during a meeting with citizens.

The chancellor noted that Kremlin dictator Putin is ready to sacrifice a large number of his military in the war of aggression he has unleashed. Putin does not reckon with the losses of his army in the war «for the sake of imperialist delusions of grandeur,» Scholz said.

As reported, as of the morning of May 27, the losses of Russian troops and their mercenaries in Ukraine amounted to about 502,340. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders put out of action at least 1,150 Russian occupiers.
