Over the past 10 days, the enemy has intensified shelling of Lyman and the surrounding area — journalist

Over the past 10 days, the Russian army has intensified shelling of the city of Lyman in the north of Donetsk Region.

This was reported by journalist Serhiy Horbatenko on Hromadske Radio.

Fortunately, the line of contact in the area of Lyman has not moved significantly so far. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are reliably holding the line. However, we see that Russian troops are using guided aerial bombs and Smerch multiple rocket launchers.

Now the shelling has intensified. According to my observations, over the past 10 days, they have been shelling Lyman almost every day. Consequently, the forests around this town are also burning, and these fires are caused by Russian shelling», — the correspondent said.

Earlier, it was reported that in the Donetsk region, due to the intensification of Russian shelling, it was decided to evacuate families with children from the town of Lyman and six other villages.
