A servicewoman and activist, Shura Ryazantseva (Yalta), died at the front. After the large-scale invasion, she went to the military registration office and enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At first, she served in one of the troops and recently joined the Air Assault Troops.

This was reported by her sister Valeria.

Unfortunately, Shura is no more…», — her sister wrote.

Until February 24, Shura Ryazantseva was a stylist, notably working at the Kvartal 95 Studio.

On November 30, 2013, while walking through the center of Kyiv with her costumes, she witnessed the beating of students on Independence Square. She then took an active part in the Revolution of Dignity.

«A phoenix bird woke up in me, knocked on my door, and said: ‘Come on, Shura, leave, what are you doing here, you have to fight for your land.’ I remember going home, taking all my warm clothes, and realizing that the period when you were infantile about many things was over. Now, my motto in life is: there is nothing more valuable than human life, the life of a Ukrainian, and your homeland», — she told Suspilne Krym.

In 2014, Shura Ryazantseva was taken prisoner in her native Crimea. Along with other activists, she was detained at the Armyansk entry and exit checkpoint, held for five days in Sevastopol, and then ordered to leave the peninsula.
