As a result of the missile attacks, more than 50 civilian objects were damaged, and 28 people were killed.

This information was announced by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Ihor Klymenko.

«Russia has damaged more than 50 civilian objects, including residential buildings, a business center, and two medical facilities. Twenty-eight people were killed: 11 in the Dnipro region and 17 in Kyiv,» Klymenko said.

According to him, a total of 112 people were injured, with 62 in the Dnipro region, 48 in the capital, and 2 in the Kyiv region.

«Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing at the sites of the biggest impacts. Rescuers, police, and utility companies are working. Special thanks to all the caring people who rushed to help,» the Interior Minister added.

Following the attack, Ukraine is convening an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to Poland.

«Ukraine is now initiating the convening of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure, including a children’s hospital,» Zelenskyy said during a joint press conference with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda.

The head of state said that Russia is already spreading false information that the destruction of the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv was caused by Ukrainian air defense.

The consequences of the attack were felt in almost all districts of Kyiv, where aid centers were set up in three districts.

Debris from the missile strike was recorded falling in the Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts. Preliminary data reported:

    • An office building was damaged in the Solomianskyi district.

Russia struck the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital with an X-101 strategic cruise missile. As a result, at least two adults were killed, and children were wounded.

Relevant evidence, including fragments of the rear body of the X-101 missile with a serial number and part of the rudder, has already been found at the site of the tragedy.

«The Security Service will do everything possible to ensure that the enemy faces maximum retribution for each of its war crimes, including today’s attack on Ukraine. This retribution will be both legal and moral. A terrorist state is not an abstract concept. There are specific names of murderers. And nothing will save them from justice,» said SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk.
