There were 627 children in Okhmatdyt during the shelling — Ministry of Health

During the missile attack by Russia on the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv, 627 children were present there.

This was reported by Health Minister Viktor Lyashko.

According to the Health Minister, 94 children were transported from Okhmatdyt to other medical institutions in Kyiv, and 68 children remained for treatment in the surviving buildings of Okhmatdyt.

Additionally, 465 children who needed routine treatment were examined and temporarily discharged home. Their parents are being kept informed.

Eight children were injured, and two adults died.
