Occupants in the temporary occupied territories seek to «close the issue» with property of Ukrainians who left by mid-August — National Resistance Center
In the temporarily occupied territories, the occupiers have set a goal to «close the issue» with the property of Ukrainians who have left by 16 August.
This was reported by the National Resistance Centre.
In particular, in the temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, representatives of the occupation administration, together with the military, are conducting raids to identify apartments whose owners have not submitted title documents.
The occupiers post notices on apartment doors and appeals to residents from representatives of the ‘commission’ to provide housing documents. In case of failure to submit the documents by 16 August, the occupiers threaten to «take action» against such property, i.e., confiscate it.
«It is likely that the occupation administration may give such housing to Russian IDPs who move to the occupied territories as part of the colonisation policy. Such actions of the occupation authorities only indicate a desire to continue the genocidal practice of changing the ethnic composition of the population in Ukraine», – the NRC states.
