It was noted that Russia used cruise missiles—likely X-101. The missiles were launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers in the Saratov region.
The missiles entered the capital after complex maneuvers. Simultaneously with the arrival of cruise missiles, the occupiers fired KN-24/Iskander-M ballistic missiles and an attack UAV at Kyiv and its suburbs. The Kyiv City Military Administration stated that air defense destroyed more than a dozen cruise missiles, about a dozen ballistic missiles, and an attack drone.
