We are discussing the adaptation of resettlers’ children to life in a new place. The broadcast’s presenters tell about sociological surveys made public on the eve of the broadcast. According to children psychologist, Natalya Syrotych, 90 percent of resettler children dream about coming back home.

Natalya  Syrotych, a teacher and psychologist, head of the center for children development of “Caritas. Kyiv” Charity Foundation, told how forced moving away and fear from what they saw during the armed conflict influence children of different ages. She gave recommendations to parents and told what should be the focus of attention while talking to children and when organizing education and leisure of such children.
Speaking on the phone, psychologist Valentyna Popova told about the requests that parents address psychologists with most often and noted that a certain methodology must have for long been in place for teachers to help such children during the period of their adapting to new places.
The studio had also received two phone calls from families who moved from Donetsk and Luhansk Regions. They told about their experience in children’s adaptation.
