Volodymyr Kovalsky, an ATO veteran, came to the Hromadske Radio studio on his artificial limbs. On 24 December 2016, he will participate in cross-fit competitions “Heroes’ Games” in Kiev, devised and organized by volunteers and ATO veterans.
Many participants in these competitions were badly wounded whie on duty in the ATO zone, they lost their arms or legs. Sports help them feel more confident both physically and psychologically.
ATO veterans are also training in Mykolayiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Lviv. The competitions’ organizer, an ATO veteran, Ihor (callsign “August”), said that he will be able to help organize training I other cities as well.
