In the last 24 hours the Ukrainian military hit 17 aerial targets, amongst the objects hit were six planes, five UAV’s, one helicopter and five cruise missiles, reported General Staff of the Armed Forces on Facebook.
The Air Force also targeted technical equipment destroying Russian cruise missiles.
Additionally in Belarus, representatives of opposition forces and concerned citizens have partially disrupted the railway connection between Belarus and Ukraine. Despite this development Russian and Belarusian military equipment continues to make its way from Belarus into Ukraine.
The General Staff also notes that covert mobilization is underway in Russia to make up for the losses of occupying troops. The military is attempting to recruit former servicemen. Preference is being given to those who have combat experience.
There are reports of demoralization among Russian troops. Reports from Mariupol claim it appears that less than 10% of the personnel in one of the special forces units are ready and willing to continue participating in the war. Many have been killed, wounded, are sick or demoralized.
Russian forces also struck the Pavlograd-2 railway station in Pavlograd in the Dnipropetrovsk region. One person has died.
