153 children have been killed and 245 wounded as a result of russia’s invasion of Ukraine

Since the beginning of the war 153 children have been killed and 245 wounded, reported the Office of the Prosecutor General. 

The prosecutors statement stressed that work to establish complete data on child victims in places of active hostilities and in temporarily occupied territories is underway. 

In particular they are focusing on the city of Mariupol, and areas of Kyiv, Chernihiv and Luhansk regions.

Bombing and shelling have damaged 859 schools, 83 of which were completely destroyed.

The regions that are experiencing the most losses are Donetsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Kherson, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv regions and the city of Kyiv.
