The Ukrainian military liberated the village of Dementievka in the Kharkiv region. It is located 16 kilometers from the border with Russia.

In the Eastern Operational Zone, the troops of the Russian Federation continue their offensive. Fighting continues in the area of the settlement of Ternov.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

«The enemy continues its offensive in the Eastern Operational Zone. It is firing along the entire line of contact and in the depths of the defense of our troops in the Donetsk operational area and in the Slavic direction, taking measures to strengthen the offensive group, «the statement said.

In the Seversky direction, units of Russian troops fired artillery and mortars at the settlements of Yanzhulivka and Progress, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

Sumy OVA also reported that the Russian occupiers twice opened fire with mortars and artillery on the Shostka district from the territory of Russia.
