The International Group on Combating Money Laundering (FATF) has not blacklisted Russia. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine does not agree with this decision. A statement to this effect was published on the website of the Ministry of Finance.
«The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine does not agree with the decision of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) not to take further action against Russia, despite the increasing number of violations of FATF standards,» the statement reads. The ministry notes that after the suspension of Russia’s membership in the FATF in February 2023, it stepped up its activities related to money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, as well as sanctions evasion.
Russian occupants have significantly intensified shelling on the contact line in Kharkiv region. In particular, the enemy is conducting more frequent air strikes. This was reported by Hromadske Radio’s correspondent in Kharkiv, Anna Chernenko. russian occupiers have reinforced their forces and are actively attacking on the Lyman and Kupiansk directions, trying to seize the initiative from the Ukrainian Defence Forces. In particular, intensification of hostile shelling has been recorded in the region.
After the destruction of the Chongar Bridge on the administrative border of the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson Oblast and Crimea, long traffic jams formed in the northern part of the peninsula. The head of the Russian Association of Freight Carriers and Forwarders called the situation on the roads a «mess». The congestion is observed precisely on the route that the occupiers are now trying to use to transfer ammunition and personnel.
