Deported Ukrainian children are currently being held in 57 regions of Russia. This was stated by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets during a special report on violations of the rights of Ukrainian children.
In 16 of the 57 regions, at least 380 Ukrainian children have been forcibly transferred to Russian families. Ukraine has also documented cases where the Russian military abducted children in the occupied territories to intimidate, put pressure on relatives, and gather intelligence. In addition, the Russian military exerts pressure on children and threatens them with violence to force adults to perform work for the Russian army or the occupation authorities.
On 27 June, Russian occupants launched two missile attacks on Kramatorsk. The first hit was on a catering establishment in the city centre, and the second was in the village of Bilenke. There are dead and wounded as a result of the shelling. The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, said in a teleconference call that the data on casualties and damage is being established. He added that the occupiers opened fire at 19.30, hitting a catering establishment with visitors.
At 21:15, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, said that Russia had targeted crowded places in Kramatorsk. Two people have already been reported dead as a result of the Russian attack, and 22 others have been injured, including a child. A hotel, a catering facility and several private houses were damaged.
The United States has announced a new $500 million military aid package for Ukraine.
This was announced by the Ministry of Defence on 27 June.

- 25 Stryker armoured personnel carriers
- ammunition for HIMARS, Patriot and Stinger
- anti-tank weapons
- artillery shells of 155 and 105 mm calibre
- High-speed anti-radar missiles (HARM)
- high-precision aircraft munitions
- small arms and over 22 million rounds of ammunition
- thermal imaging systems and night vision devices
- spare parts, generators and other field equipment
