The Minister for Foreign Affairs suggested that the international community take 5 steps to strengthen Ukraine
After another massive missile and drone attack by Russian invaders on January 2, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba expects the Western countries to react and take decisive action. He shared his thoughts in his microblog on the social network X.
«Putin is stepping up his terror against Ukraine. Today marked the second massive missile strike in just four days. Civilian infrastructure was damaged, and there are injured and dead, including children. We expect all states to strongly condemn the attack and take decisive action», — Kuleba said.
According to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, five steps can be taken right now:
- Speed up the provision of additional air defense systems and ammunition to Ukraine.
- Provide Ukraine with combat drones of all types.
- Provide Ukraine with long-range missiles of 300 km+.
- Approve the use of frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine.
- Isolate Russian diplomats in the relevant capitals and international organizations.
«The terrorist regime in Moscow must realize that the international community will not turn a blind eye to the killing of civilians and the destruction of civilian infrastructure in Ukraine», — Kuleba stressed.
Russian invaders attacked Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv on the night and morning of January 2. More than 90 people have been injured, and five killed.
As a reminder, on the night and morning of December 29, Russian invaders launched a massive attack on Ukraine. The country’s largest cities were hit: Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Lviv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia. There are casualties, injuries, and destruction everywhere.
