940 people remain in Siversk — сorrespondent
There are currently 940 people residing in Siversk, Donetsk Oblast, with a total of 1140 individuals in the entire community, as reported by Yanina Levutina, a correspondent for Hromadske Radio.
«Currently, the city of Siversk is home to 940 people, and the entire hromada (community -ed.) has a population of 1140. The city is very close to the front line, some areas are less than 5 kilometers away».
She noted that, due to the proximity to the front line, most residents have relocated from their homes to seek refuge in the basements. All available basements have been prepared to accommodate residents.
«In recent developments, Siversk now hosts an underground dental office and two mobile units that traverse the community, providing free services to the people», – Levutina added.
It’s important to note that Siversk and Slobozhansky sectors continue to face a military presence from the enemy in border areas. There are active sabotage activities to hinder the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened regions. Additionally, the Russians increase the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
