UN confirms its participation in the Peace Summit

The United Nations Secretariat has confirmed that the UN will be represented at the June Peace Summit in Switzerland.

This was stated at a press briefing by Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General Farhan Haq, Ukrinform reports.

“The principal comment on this is as follows: we will participate (in the Summit -ed.). Closer to the date of the event, we will be able to inform you who exactly will be there», — Haq said, answering a question about attempts by Russia and its supporters to disrupt the forum.

The Global Peace Summit will be held on June 15-16 in Switzerland. It is expected to be attended by representatives of more than a hundred countries from all continents.
