Russian shelling has become an everyday occurrence for residents of Kherson, and people try not to go out into the city without dire need.

This was reported by Mykhailo Batrak, a correspondent of Hromadske Radio in Kherson.

The day before, on June 4, Russian occupiers shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson, damaging private houses and a multi-storey building.

This is not something special anymore. It’s routine shelling; such attacks happen almost every day. Not only the Korabelny district of the city was damaged, but also the Dniprovsky and Tsentralny districts. The Korabelny district is quite large, but if we talk about the Korabel neighborhood, located on the island, there are almost no people left there…

If we talk about the right-bank part of the city, there hasn’t been a completely quiet day in Kherson for a year and a half», — the correspondent said.

According to him, there are not very many people on the streets of Kherson. Residents try not to go out unless they have to.

No events dedicated to the end of the school year were held in Kherson. The Hromadske Radio correspondent expressed hope that next year’s classes will be held in a mixed format.
