US denies State Department involvement in Texty.org.ua publication

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has stated that the State Department is not involved in the material of the Ukrainian analytical publication Texty.org.ua, which analyzes who and how in the United States is campaigning for the termination of aid to Ukraine.

The embassy said this in a comment to Radio Liberty.

«The State Department did not play any role or participate in the aforementioned American Swing project published by Texty.org.ua», — the press service of the diplomatic mission said.

As a reminder, Texty.org.ua reported «unprecedented pressure» from American politicians due to the publication of the study «Roller Coaster. From Trumpists to Communists. The forces in the U.S. impeding aid to Ukraine and how they do it»

The journalists analyzed the arguments of people in the United States who oppose support for Ukraine and compared them to common Russian narratives. In contrast to these narratives, they presented their theses with arguments and references to sources.

Texty.org.ua notes that they did not call these people enemies of Ukraine and did not challenge their right to freedom of expression, but only stated the facts.
