The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has announced the expansion of its initiative to support the sustainability of agriculture in Ukraine. The agency plans to attract nearly $1.75 billion in additional investments.

The additional investments will be directed to Ukraine’s agricultural sector. The funds will come from nine new partners, including private sector entities, international financial institutions, and other donors. The new partners include:
It is noted that with the involvement of these new partners, the total funds raised under the AGRI-Ukraine initiative since July 2022 have exceeded $2.26 billion.
Additionally, USAID highlighted that since July 2022, AGRI-Ukraine has supported more than 15,000 Ukrainian farmers, providing them with seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products, storage solutions, and financing to cultivate their crops.
This support helped preserve and harvest more than 5.5 million tons of grain, generating over $1 billion in revenue for the Ukrainian economy.
