NATO’s Warsaw Summit was all over the news. As leaders of the world’s most powerful military alliance prepared to meet in Poland, many in Ukraine were wondering how the meeting would affect them
To get some deeper insight into the NATO-Ukraine relationship and the Warsaw Summit, Hromadske Radio spoke with a number of experts, including:
Mykhailo Samus, Deputy Director for International Affairs at the Center for Army, Conversion, and Disarmament Studies, in Kyiv
Hanna Hopko, Chairperson of the Committee on Foreign Relations in Ukraine’s Parliament
Dr. Andreas Umland, a German political scientist, a professor at the National University of «Kyiv-Mohyla Academy», Kyiv.

Next week, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be coming to Ukraine for a visit, along with a delegation that includes the International Trade Minister Chrystia Freeland. Canada is signing a Free Trade Agreement with Ukraine on Monday 11 July. HR will bring you an interview with Minister Freeland next week.
