Alyona Romaniuk: Fake news from the Russian Federation about biolaboratories has been circulating for many years. It first impacted Georgia and other countries, and then moved to Ukrainian territories, and took root here. This is because the history of the Nazis in Ukraine is ambiguous. Actually, the Russian Federation dug up an old fake story about biolabs and started to spread it as much as possible.
Interestingly, all the documents on Ukrainian laboratories, which at one point received grant funding from the United States and other countries, are publicly available, no one is hiding anything.
We really are a superpower, because we withstand all this influx of fake news, we repel it. Our defenders are holding down all fronts and inflict casualties on the enemy, despite all their attempts to break through.

A lot of fake news is now aimed at creating panic. This is done through Viber, Telegram, anonymous channels, and comments on social media. We need to be very careful about all the information we see on social media from unofficial sources.
How is the Kremlin’s rhetoric changing?
Initially, there was the discourse of neo-Nazis and the liberation of Ukrainians. When it became clear that no one here was waiting for the Russian army and we did not need to be rescued, they began to construe the narrative of American biolaboratories. There are several separate narratives aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces and the SRO. Allegedly, there are drunks who shoot each other and civilians, there are whole video productions of this type of fake news. They separately aim to discredit the Ukrainian government as much as possible.
Yesterday the Russian Federation launched a deep-fake, in which Zelenskyy allegedly orders us to lay down arms. Narratives go in all possible directions, wherever they can cast doubt on Ukraine’s victory.
