This was stated by Olena Shapoval, a spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, during an interview with Hromadske Radio.
«We are expanding the mandatory evacuation of the population from 27 settlements in the Kupiansk district. We are talking about two communities – Kindrashivska and Kurylivska. According to our data, more than 3,000 people are currently staying there, including 279 children. Of course, we are calling on families with children to evacuate from the dangerous areas first», — says Olena Shapoval.
Regarding the return of families with children to the evacuated areas, Shapoval mentioned:
«In the Kharkiv region, 53 settlements have been identified where families with children are prohibited from returning»
