
All miners trapped underground in the Kryvyi Rih district due to a drone attack have been successfully brought to the surface
Over 110 miners from Kryvyi Rih, who were stranded underground following a drone attack, have been successfully brought to the surface.
This was reported by Oleksandr Vilkul, Chairman of the Defence Council of Kryvyi Rih.
«All 113 miners are now on the surface. Grateful to the mine rescuers, State Emergency Service, and the management and labor collectives of KZRK and Arcelor», he expressed.
As a reminder, the power company implemented backup schemes to restore electricity for 10.5 thousand consumers in Kryvyi Rih who were left without power due to a Russian drone attack on the night of February 2nd.
Following the drone attack on February 2nd, damage occurred to one of Ukrenergo’s high-voltage substations.
On that same night, Russian drones targeted critical infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih, leading to power outages in hospitals, schools, kindergartens, the city tram, and mines.
