I do not confirm street fighting in Avdiivka — head of city military administration Barabash

There are no street battles reported in Avdiivka, Donetsk region; however, Russian occupants have entered several houses in the suburbs near the city.

Vitaliy Barabash, the head of the Avdiivka city military administration, shared this information with Hromadske Radio.

«I cannot confirm reports of advances in the city or street fighting in Avdiivka. It is accurate that they have entered the dacha estate near the city. Nevertheless, this does not constitute urban development, as these are not city streets», — Barabash clarified.

The day before, journalist Yuriy Butusov stated that Russian occupants had advanced into the built-up area of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, with street fighting ongoing in the city.
