Russian forces target hotel in Kharkiv region: the body of a two-month-old boy found in the rubble
On the night of February 6th, Russian occupation forces targeted Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv district of the Kharkiv region, striking a hotel. Rescuers retrieved the body of a two-month-old boy born on December 4, 2023, from the rubble of the three-story hotel.
This was reported by Oleg Synehubov, the head of the regional military administration.
According to him, the three-story hotel building was completely destroyed, with a person believed to be trapped under the rubble. Three individuals were successfully rescued: two women and one man.
A fire also broke out on the facade of a nearby shop, and efforts to mitigate the impact aftermath are ongoing.
«Rescuers recovered the body of a two-month-old boy born on December 4, 2023, from the debris of the three-story hotel. Three women, aged 21, 28, and 39, were hospitalized with explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds, including the mother of the deceased child,» stated Synehubov.
He further added that the Russians launched two S-300 missiles during the night.
