The Air Defense Forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 13 missiles of various types launched by Russian invaders

On the morning of February 15, Russian occupiers launched an attack on Ukraine using 26 missiles of various types. The Ukrainian defense forces successfully destroyed 13 of these missiles.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian invaders deployed a range of missiles, including X-101/X-555/X-55 air-launched cruise missiles, Kalibr sea-launched missiles, Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, and X-59 guided missiles.
The breakdown of the attacks and the corresponding Ukrainian defense achievements are as follows:
- 12 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles from T-95ms strategic aircraft – 8 were destroyed.
- 6 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles – 1 was destroyed.
- 2 Kalibr cruise missiles – 2 were destroyed.
- 4 X-59 guided missiles – 2 were destroyed.
- 2 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles
