Denmark has officially announced the signing of a bilateral security agreement with Ukraine, securing support for the next decade.

This was reported by Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

«The agreement specifies that forthcoming military and civilian assistance will be established through a bilateral political agreement over the next 10 years», — stated the Danish Foreign Ministry in an official statemen

Financed through the Ukraine Fund, currently estimated at $10 billion, the agreement signifies Denmark’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s security efforts.

Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen previously stated that Denmark is working at full capacity to deliver the first F-16 aircraft to Ukraine by this summer. The final decision on sending Danish F-16s to Ukraine hinges on factors such as the completion of training for Ukrainian pilots and personnel, as well as the establishment of necessary logistics and infrastructure in Ukraine.

Ukraine has previously signed security agreements with the UK, Germany, and France.
