Zelenskyy holds another meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff
Today, on February 22, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened another meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, during which discussions focused on the front-line situation and the status of F-16 aircraft, as announced by the Head of State.
President Zelenskyy received information about Russian plans from Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, and updates on the operational situation from Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
«The meeting covered the situation in all major sectors, including defensive actions and some offensive operations, as well as details about the supply and consumption of ammunition, missiles, and drones», — stated the President.
Particular attention was given to a detailed review of the situation in the Avdiivka and Southern sectors. Discussions included the establishment of a new defense line in the Avdiivka area, reinforcement of borders, and insights into the enemy’s future intentions.
President Zelenskyy reassured about the secure hold of the bridgehead at Krynky by Ukrainian marines, emphasizing that the enemy’s efforts amounted to a disinformation operation.
A closed report on the F-16 aircraft was presented separately, covering details such as the quantity in the first batch, the anticipated timeline for receipt, infrastructure and personnel readiness, a training schedule for pilots and technicians, and the anticipated delivery of subsequent aircraft.
