The 16th Annual Kyiv Security Forum is scheduled to take place on March 21st and 22nd
On March 21st and 22nd, the 16th annual Kyiv Security Forum will convene to mobilize transatlantic support for Ukraine, under the slogan: «Ukraine says to the world: let’s win together!».
The forum commemorates the tenth anniversary of the signing of the political part of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, a milestone achieved during the Revolution of Dignity. This historical choice by Ukrainians remains the path to our freedom, with no alternative.
During the two-day event in Kyiv, the main topics for discussion include the frontline situation, urgent military assistance to Ukraine, Ukraine’s accession to the EU and NATO, preparations for the European Parliament elections, the NATO Summit in Washington, the US presidential election, and the vision of the strategy of the West and Ukraine, as outlined by the organizers.
At the invitation of the Chairman of the KSF, former Prime Minister of Ukraine (2014-16) Arseniy Yatsenyuk and his team, over eighty foreign and Ukrainian speakers will participate in the Forum, both online and in person.
Among them, notable international figures include: Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council (2009-14); Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission (2004-14); Baroness Catherine Ashton, First Vice-President of the European Commission (2010-14); Taavi Rõivas, Prime Minister of Estonia (2014-16); Andrius Kubilius, Prime Minister of Lithuania (1999-2000, 2008-12); Lieutenant General Ben Hodges, Commander of the United States Forces Europe (2014-17); General Gordon «Skip» Davis Jr., Commander of US Central Command (2008-10) and Director of the CIA (2011-12); General David Petraeus.
