The occupants attacked 10 regions of Ukraine, resulting in damage to power facilities in six of them
As a result of a missile attack by the Russian occupiers, the energy infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Cherkasy, and Chernivtsi regions was damaged. In total, the enemy attacked 10 regions of Ukraine on the night of March 29th.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported on the consequences of the enemy attack.
«Last night, Russia continued its barbaric attacks against the Ukrainian energy system. There are damages to the energy infrastructure in Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Cherkasy, and Chernivtsi regions», — Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.
He added that emergency blackouts have been introduced in some regions.
«Ukraine needs more air defense systems to secure critical infrastructure and protect the population. This is the main subject of conversation with our international partners», — the Prime Minister stressed.
In turn, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that more than 150 rescuers and 35 specialized vehicles of the State Emergency Service were involved in the aftermath of the night and morning strikes.
«The enemy attacked energy infrastructure, civilian facilities, and private homes with missiles and drones. In total, 10 regions were under attack. Six people, including a child, sought medical assistance immediately after the strikes. About 10 private houses were destroyed, and dozens more were damaged.
Rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of Russian strikes, while investigators are recording crimes», — the statement said.
As reported, on the night of March 29th, the Russian occupation forces struck again at energy facilities during a massive combined attack. Air defense forces destroyed 84 out of 99 air targets at night.
