Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed 20 Shahed drones overnight

Last night, the air defense forces successfully neutralized all 20 Shahed drones used in the attack on Ukraine.
Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported this on Telegram.
«On the night of April 9, 2024, Russian invaders launched an attack using 20 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs from Cape Chauda – Crimea, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, and four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the occupied Donetsk region», – according to the statement
The Ukrainian Air Force mobilized fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to repel the air attack.
Following the intense air battle, all 20 «Shahed» drones were successfully downed in the regions of Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipro, Poltava, Vinnytsia, and Lviv.
