Ministry of Defence confirms russian army's attempt to break through defence line in northern Kharkiv region

Around 5 am on May 10, the russian army attempted to breach the Ukrainian defense line in the northern part of the Kharkiv region, utilizing armored vehicles for cover. This information was disclosed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

According to the ministry, these attacks have thus far been thwarted, with battles of varying intensity still underway. Since the onset of the night, russian occupiers have escalated their artillery-backed assault along the frontline of our defense.

Reserve units have been mobilized to reinforce the Ukrainian Defense Forces in this frontline area, sustaining efforts to repel the enemy’s offensive.

Furthermore, it’s worth noting that evacuation procedures are in progress for the population of the Vovchansk community in the Kharkiv region. Authorities, police, and volunteers are collaboratively aiding people in their departure from the area.
