The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has developed new flight procedures for tactical aviation. They are based on NATO standards.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence.

«Our tactical aviation now has new flight procedures in line with NATO standards. This will enhance the capabilities of the Armed Forces. We are moving forward and doing everything possible to ensure that the Armed Forces of Ukraine maintain an advantage on the battlefield», — said First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk.

The document contains instructions, explanations, and interpretations developed by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine. These guidelines will help ensure the safe operation of tactical aircraft, both domestic and Western models.

A specially created working group within the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is already implementing the new standards. The State Aviation Administration also plans to develop four more sets of procedures. These are for other types of aircraft, including unmanned aerial vehicles.

Earlier, the British publication The Economist reported that the first 10 F-16 fighter jets out of a possible 79 arrived in Ukraine on 31 July. On the same day, foreign media also reported that the first batch of F-16 fighters from allied nations had been delivered to Ukraine.

As a reminder, Ukraine managed to down Russian Mi-28 helicopter with an FPV drone. It was not possible before, due to technical capabilities. This was confirmed by Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles battalion of the 92nd Separate Air Assault Brigade.
