The bodies of 4 more people, who were shot dead by the russian military found in Kyiv region
The bodies of four people, who were shot dead by the Russian military during the occupation of the region, were found in the Bucha district of Kyiv region, announced Kyiv Police Chief Andriy Nebytov.
The bodies of three men were found near the ring road near Makarov, where Russians were stationed during the fighting. One of them is a Czech citizen. The men were shot in different parts of the body: two in the head, another – in the abdomen. A streamer with a grenade left by the occupiers was found near the burial ground.
Law enforcement officers established that a Czech citizen had worked as a truck driver in Ukraine before the war, and at the beginning of the war he came to help as a volunteer.
Also near the village of Rakivka, the body of another local resident was found – a former operative of the police, who was retired. During the occupation, he went out for firewood and did not return.
Police found that Russian soldiers undressed the man and shot him. The deceased was buried on the field near the battle positions of the occupiers.
«This is another fact that confirms that the Russian military has abducted people even from their own homes. Forensic scientists found traces of torture on the body of the deceased. The presence of gunshot wounds to the torso was also clearly recorded,” Nebitov said.
As of early May, after the deoccupation of Kyiv region, 1,202 bodies of dead civilians had already been identified, examined and handed over to forensic medical institutions. Another 300 people went missing.
In early April, the entire Kyiv region was liberated from Russian invaders. Mass killings of civilian invaders have been recorded in liberated towns and villages.
