Commanders of the russian occupying forces lie to the Kremlin about their «successes» in the war in Ukraine – Security Service of Ukraine
The commanders of the occupying forces continue to report to the Kremlin on their «successes» and do not even shy away from telling lies, reported the Security Service of Ukraine with reference to the intercepted conversation of one of the occupiers.
In late April, the Russian military reported to Moscow that it had allegedly captured the village of Dovgenke in the Kharkiv region, although it was under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Now battles are underway for this settlement.
«There were clashes here: if we don’t take Dovhenke, we are now hanging two or three criminal cases against the commander. And that’s all! And the fact is that Dovhenka was reported three weeks ago that we took him. And we are fighting for him,» an occupier told his mother.
The SBU notes that the Russians are now actively shelling Dovgenke and neighboring villages with artillery, multiple rocket launchers, mortars and tanks. However, the Armed Forces give a decent rebuff.
Earlier, British intelligence reported that Russian paratroopers were not as effective as portrayed by Russian propaganda. In Ukraine, they suffered significant defeats.
