The Austrian gas station chain AMIC ENERGY and the Dignitas Charitable Foundation have announced the launch of MAVIC from AMIC 3.0. The initiative will provide the military with 50 DJI MAVIC 3T (Thermal) drones, allowing them to detect enemy objects at night and in low visibility conditions.

«At this critical time for Ukraine, we realize that the effective use of modern technologies on the battlefield can be crucial. MAVIC 3T drones with thermal imaging cameras are essential for successful reconnaissance operations at night and in low visibility conditions. We are sincerely grateful to our customers for their support, which allows us to continue to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and bring victory closer», — said Günter Maier, Managing Director and Shareholder of AMIC ENERGY.

The importance of having reconnaissance drones was also expressed by the military in their video message.

AMIC ENERGY has already donated more than UAH 17 million and successfully delivered 200 reconnaissance drones to more than 110 military units of the Security and Defense Forces. One can support the project by refueling with gasoline or diesel fuel at all AMIC ENERGY filling stations, and the company will transfer UAH 5 from each customer’s check to purchase drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

«It is impossible to overestimate the importance of Mavic 3T night vision drones for saving lives at the front,» says Lyuba Shipovych, director of the Dignitas Fund. «After all, they serve as the eyes of the military at night or in poor visibility conditions, observing from the sky an enemy assault, artillery fire and helping to direct defense actions accordingly. Without visibility from the sky, there would be hundreds and hundreds of casualties, when one such drone saves the lives of an entire unit from the enemy’s insidious actions under the cover of night.»

We would like to remind you that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, AMIC UKRAINE has provided support to the government and people of Ukraine for a total amount of more than UAH 112 million (as of June 30, 2024).

AMIC ENERGY is an Austrian company that owns a network of 470 retail gas stations in Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, AMIC UKRAINE has provided support to the government and people of Ukraine, military units of the Security and Defense Forces, various state institutions, charitable organizations and personnel in the most difficult moments of the country’s history in the amount of over UAH 112 million (as of 30.06.2024), including almost 400 thousand liters of fuel, over 65 units of special military devices, hardware system for suppressing control channels of ANTIDRON KVSG 6+ UAVs, cars, military clothing, body armor, heaters, universal mobile batteries HamaSupreme, provided equipment to shelters and medical institutions in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions, etc.
