Railway infrastructure in the Lviv region damaged following 4 missile strikes by russian occupation forces

Late in the evening of June 1, Russian occupation forces launched missile strikes on the railway infrastructure in the Stryi and Sambir districts of the Lviv region. Four cruise missiles were fired from the Black Sea.

This was reported by the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytsky.

According to him, the railway facilities are significantly damaged, so many trains are delayed.

«Five people were injured, three in the Stryi district, and two in the Sambir district. Four people are in moderate condition, they are in the region’s hospitals. One has minor injuries, she was not hospitalized,» Kozytskyi said.

Lviv Railway specialists are working to restore the connection.

In the evening of May 3 the Russian occupying forces struck five rocket attacks on Lviv from the Caspian region. Two missiles were shot down by an air defense system. Two people were injured then.
